Algebra II: After a review of class policies and procedures, we will start with a review of geometric formulas found on the 11th gd PSSA Formula Sheet. We will then begin with an overview of real numbers and an activity on estimating square roots and using the Pythagorean Theorem.
Monday- Get syllabus signed, get book covered, get notebook and folder, register with Pearson
Tuesday - Finish perimeter and area worksheet(31 pts)
Wednesday- Finish Suface area and volume worksheet(30 pts)
Thursday- Sec 1-1 Practice Worksheet and Per and Area Worksheet corrections
Friday- Open-Ended Question on Volume (20 pts) and S.A. and Volume Worksheet corrections
Pre-Algebra 7: After a review of class policies and procedures, the students will register in class on PearsonSuccessnet. This will allow the student to access the textbook and worksheets online.
Afterwards, we will explore variables, expressions, and the order of operations. We will finish the week with "Order of Operations" Bingo : )

Wednesday- Sec 1-1 Enrichment worksheet and websites discussed in class found in the Math Fun section on my homework blog
Thursday- Class Meetings today. Spend 20 minutes of practice time on first 2 Math Fun websites tonight.
Friday- Sec 1-2 Practice w. #1-16, 23-28 and pg 12/ #47-49
Concepts of Algebra: After a review of class policies and procedures, the students will register in class on PearsonSuccessnet. This will allow the student to access the textbook and worksheets online. Students will then review all operations with decimals in groups. On the last day of the week we will take a test on operations with decimals.

Wednesday- Finish worksheet (Add/Sub/Mult/Div)
Thursday- Finish worksheet (word problems with decimals)
Friday- Test on decimal operations in class. No HW
